To meet the needs of long distance Ethernet over UTP or telephone line applications, we can offer a new generation of Ethernet over UTP Extender. It has 1 x 10/100 BASE-TX RJ45 port and 1 x UTP RJ45 connector with a compact metal housing, which makes the placement of the device convenient. the extender provides a total duplex data rate of 100 Mbps, which can extend a maximum distance of up to 1.2 km. It is ideal for distance extension and signal conversion by transferring Ethernet data from the UTP cable or telephone cable to another 100 meter UTP cable for any type of IP network device such as HD IP camera, wireless access point, NVR and digital signage.

A set of (2) VDSL Extenders could be used to connect two local area networks that are located in different locations. Through the Cat.5e UTP cable or telephone line, it could configure a 100Mbps backbone, but one must be Master (CO mode) and the other is Slave (CPE mode).

To take advantage of the digital surveillance system and retain the benefits of UTP cable, the Extender helps the community, campus and businesses to upgrade analog camera system to IP camera surveillance without using additional new wiring. The VDSL Extender is a switching architecture with one RJ45 port and one Long Reach Ethernet interface. Just plug the IP camera's UTP cable into the Ethernet port and the existing UTP cable or telephone line into the UTP jack to easily implement and extend the distance of signal conversion by transmitting Ethernet data from the standard UTP cable.
